How is a Symbolic Ceremony?

As you imagine. Each ceremony is written especially for each couple.

After meeting for the first time, we will establish each of the stages of the ceremony in which the couple prints their personal touch. We offer ideas and alternatives until together we build an ideal ceremony for you.

Broadly, it is made up of:

A thank you, a welcome, an opening ritual, a reflection or reading on love and commitment, a union ritual, exchange of vows and rings, a closing ritual and the final declaration.

Does this ceremony involve any religion?

We do not evoke any religion, but we believe in the beauty and symbolism of the spiritual and loving union.

The ceremonies we perform are humanistic, that is, focused on the identity of the couple, their values and the love they feel for each other. They are totally inclusive of any beliefs, preferences and can have spiritual elements if you so desire.

Your ceremony will reflect who you are, what your values and beliefs are, and will definitely be very moving.

Does it have legal value?

No. If you want to civilly legalize your marriage, you must go to a civil registry. Many couples perform the civil ceremony a few days before  and celebrate their wedding banquet with this ceremony, in which their family and friends participate. You can also perform both ceremonies on the same day or not perform a civil ceremony. The decision is up to you.

To whom are these ceremonies addressed?

For any couple who wants a different alternative to the conventional one to celebrate their wedding. Young couples looking for an original ceremony that is more aligned with their beliefs, couples who want to renew their vows, celebrate their anniversary, couples remarried, same-sex couples or couples who just want to honor their commitment to each other.

Can other people participate?

Of course. Together with you we will plan how to actively include your children, parents, relatives or friends.

Can we work remotely?

Clear. If the couple lives outside the state of Morelos, we work through videoconferences, phone calls and email.

If the ceremony will take place outside the state of Morelos, a per diem fee will be quoted according to the distance. There is only one trip outside of Cuernavaca, the day of the ceremony.

Who performs the ceremonies?

We are a team of officiants widely prepared in the therapeutic-humanist field as well and we have the sensitivity and experience necessary to perform rites of passage ceremonies with warmth and professionalism.

A celebrant is assigned to each ceremony according to the availability of the agenda and the client's preference.

We perform ceremonies in Spanish and English.

We honor the value of our work. The cost of the ceremony is the same regardless of the number of guests at the event. Our costs are final.
